Wellington, July 6 The action of Victor M. Braund v. R. Cj Neill and (f McLean was mentiont (1 in Chambers this morning. Mr Brand applied to join Fraser, formerly a clerk employed by him, at; defendant- He stated thai Eraser was made a nominal holder of 212 shares in the late Colonial Bank, which he (Braund) purchased for himself Eraser Lad declined to come in as plaintiff, and lie sought to add him as defendant. The Chief Justice permitted the jointure. Mr Braund further applied that the hearing of the action should take place in Wellington, instead of in Dunedin, where he stated so many of the special jury class had been associated with the Colonial Bank, or with defendant. The matter was adjourned till nest Friday.
