WOOD-STEALING.
[We do not hold ourselves responsible for the opinions of correspondents. [To THE EdITOR.I Sib, —Your reporter was at the Court when my children were charged with trespass. It has been said by a certain paper that my children were accused of taking away wood. Is this a fact ? I heard nothing of it.—l am, &e., James Kyle. [lt is not a fact. There was not a word said about taking wood, excepting by the defendant. The children were charged, purely and simply, with trespassing, for which they were fined. —Ed. Standard.]
