General Lockhart is proceeding to Fort Bara, where Generals Gaslee's and Westmacott'a columns are expected to efiect a junction with the Peshawar column on December 15 th The Indian Council will offer bills amounting to 40 laks of rupees for subscription on Wednesday. The Council require £6,000,000 within three months. Two Indian employees of Dunstratal and Golab, connected with the arsenal at Rawapindi, in the Punjaub, 90 miles east of Peshawar, were arrested for selling ammunition to the Pathans for the use of the rebellious frontier tribesmen.
