A CRITICAL SITUATION. #_ t Per Press Association. —L'opyriyht'. (Received Dec. 8, 10.10 a.m.) Berlin, Dec. 7. Two German cruisers have arrived at Hayti, in the West Indies, to demand reparation for the illegal imprisonment of Herr Ludcus, a German subject. The Government of the Haytiian Republic has been allotted eight hours within which to pay the amount of the indemnity claimed, failing which the Germans will take prompt measures to obtain satisfaction.
