Wesleyan Conference.

SATISFACTION EXPRESSED AT METHODIST UNION. [By Telegraph] (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This day. Fraternal greetings were received from the Baptists Union, Wellington, and a suitable reply ordered to be sent. On the motion of the Rev. Fitchett satisfaction was expressed at the cordial acceptance by the Methodist Churches in Australia on the basis of the Union adopted at the last general conference. The New Zealand Primitive Methodist Church is the only exception not having accepted the basis. The Rev. Mr Caseley presented the report of the committee on the probationers studies. It was adopted. The Rev. Mr Nye presented .the report on the Theological Institutions, Colleges and Sunday Schools.
