VICTORIA v. SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Adelaide, Nov. 16. Bowling analysis in the Victorians' first innings : —Jones 5 for 79, Giffen 5 for 89. South Australian first innings : Roche 4 for 57, Giller 3 for 70, Warrall 1 for 35, Trott 1 for 70. The Victorians scored 231 in their second innings, making a grand total of 390. The chief scorers were— Michael 56, M'Leod 44, Giller 81. The local team who require 79 to win, have lost no wickets for eight runs.
