Wind between north-west and west and south at all places northward of Kaikoura and Hokitika and between west and south and south-east at all other places. Barometer further rise everywhere. Moderating westerly gales are to be expected at all places northward of Cape Tauranga and Raglan, and hard southerly gales at all other places.
