Antole Leroy Beaulien, in an article in the Debats, says it i? incredible that Baron C'onreel, the French Ambassador in England, should have been instructed to intimate to Great Britain the intention of France to resume free coinage of silver in the ratio of lob to 1. National bankruptcy would, he says, be the result of such a policy.
