Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between north-west and west and south at all places northward of East Gape, Taupo, and New and between south-east and south and west at all other places. Barometer further fall everywhere, but rising after 12 hours. Westerly gales with rain and colder weather are to be expected at all places northward of East Cape, Taupo, and New Plymouth, and southerly gales and rain in alt other parts of the country.
