Speaking at a banquet at which the Emperors of Austria and Germany were entertained Emperor William said the Austro - Hungarian - German Alliance was of such a close, firm, and indissoluble a character that it would long continue to secure the peace of Europe. His Majesty has made remarkable efforts to conciliate and compliment the Hungarians.
