GREECE AWAITING THE DECISION OF THE DEPUTIES. TEWFIK PASHA DESIRES A SPEEDY SETTLEMENT. (Per Press Association. —Copyright.) Athens, August 30. The Greek Government is awaiting the passing of a vote of confidence by the Chamber of Deputies before taking further steps with regard to the war indemnity loan, but propose to assign the tobacco and stamps revenue as a guarantee of the loan, while agreeing to the Powers having control of the revenue devoted to the payment of tho loan. Tewfik Pasha has asked the foreign Ambassadors to hasten the negotiations.
