A complimentary banquet was tendered to Sir George Turner by the members of both Houses. The speakers eulogised the Premier's work in England. Sir George Turner said Mr Chamberlain's sympathies were unquestionably with the colonies, and he was determined to exert himself to the utmost in their future welfare.
