MATTERS QUIETING ON THE
FRONTIER. (Per Pre*s Association. —Copyriyht.) Calcutta, August 20. The Peshawar authorities report that the outlook on the Afghan frontier is less disquieting. The tribesmen are daunted by the rapid concentration ct troops. Twelve thousand have already been concentrated in the valley of the Swat river, 7500 at Tochi, 5500 at Rawa Pincli, and 12,000 at Kohat and Peshawar. Miangula ond Miar.guls, the religions leaders of the Swazis, have submitted.
