THREE BOYS HAND THEMSELVES OVER TO JUSTICE. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This day. The police have arrested two boys named Francis Smith and Edward Hayes on a charge of breaking and entering the shop of King, chemist, and stealing therefrom 30 bottles of scent. Three other lads came to the police station and gave themselves up, saying they thought it best to have their troubles over. Two of them, John Kenny and John Barrett, are charged with breaking and entering the premises of King, and the third, Ernest Petersen, with breaking and entering the shop of Chas. Sextie, Shortland street, and stealing two pocket books. One of the lads explained his conduct by saying that his brother was at Burnham and he wished to be with him.
