Captain Edwin wired this afternoon : Wind between north and west and south-west at all places northward of Lapier, Taupo, and Raglan, and between north-east and north and west elsewhere, changing by the west at all places south of Oamaru and Queenstown. Barometer fall at all places. Northerly gales with rain are probable in all parts of the colony, changing towards the west at all places south of Oamaru and Queenstown after twelve hours.
