Execution of Sheehan.

CARRIED OUT WITHOUT A HITCH. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, This day. William Sheehan, who murdered Agnes Lawcock at Amberley, was executed at Lytteltoii gaol this morning. The arrangements were carried out without a hitch. Death was instantaneous. The murderer was very calm and exhibited little or no emotion from the time he emerged from the cell till he stood 011 the gallows.
