The Canadian mail steamer Aorangi arrived at Suva on the 10tb, considerably behind time. She was to leave for Sydney on the 10th. The new Governor of Fiji, Sir J. T. O'Brien, arrived by the Aoraisgi from Vancouver and was accorded a cordial reception. The Supreme Court had commenced its sitting. An Indian coolie accused of murder had been sentenced to death. Business throughout the group is quiet.
