Canterbury Agricultural College.
[By Telegraph.] (Per Pr ess Association.) Christchurch, This day. At a meeting of the Canterbury Agricultural College Board yesterday the chairman gave notice of a scheme with a view to reorganising the management of the college and the system of training adopted. The scheme provides for relieving the principal of outdoor wenf and the appointment of a farm manager ; that first year students spend the whole of the first year in practical work of the farm and enter the college for the second year for scientific instruction ; and that those who choose to do so may pursue their studies for a third year for the college diploma ; the fees to be: —First year SOgns, second SOgns, third 7ogns. The scheme also provides for the reorganisation and reduction of the present staff and for the internal management of the college.
