Railway Returns.
* A SUBSTANTIAL INCREASE. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Aasociation) Wellington, This day. The railway returns to the end of the year, March 31, show a considerable increase. 300 000 more passengers and 285,000 tons of goods were carried than in the previous twelve mouths. The revenue shows an increase of £103,000. The returns for the first two months of the present financial year are equally satisfactory.
