TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE OF PILGRIMS. A NUMBER OF DEATHS FROM EXHAUSTION. /Per Press Association.— Copyriyht <. London, July 9. Later details of the loss of the steamer Sultan show that a large number of pilgrims were aboard. She was wrecked during a monsoon in the Indian Ocean on the same day as the steamer Aden. The- Valetta, passing 011 a voyage to Australia, rescued over 70 pilgrims and passengers ; 29 died from exhaustion and several boat loads were drowned and eaten bv sharks.
