A Determined Suicide.

Auckland, This day

A young man named Edward Breakwell, grocer, Symond-street, committed suicide this morning, cutting his throat with a razor. He got out of bed, went to the wash-house, held his head over a sink and drew the razor across his throat. In a few minutes lie bled to death. His wife sent for a doctor and the police, who found the man dead.

He was married and had one child. He started in business as grocer last Saturday.

The suicide is attributed to domestic troubles.
