Attempted Child Murder.
[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Napier, This Day. A young man named Walter Findlay, manager of Salek's pawnbroking shop, was arrested last evening on a charge of attempting to murder his infant child by administering verdigris. The accused was brought before the Court this morning and remanded, he being admitted to bail, hiffisi|j£in £2OO and two sureties of £2OO eajeh.
