Reports from the Congo Free State r.re to the effect that the Dervishes inflicted a reverse upon the Belgian forces under Baron Dsanis. The Belgian vanguard was defeated and five oiiicers and 20 non-commis-sioned officers killed. Grave fears are entertained for the safety of the remainder of the force.
