A PLOT AGAINST THE WIFE OF THE KING OF GREECE. Athens, May 18. The Turks made a strong attack upon Almyus, which after severe fighting they occupied in overwhelming force. They also attacked the Greek forces under Colonel Smolenski at Sonrpi with the object of preventing the division joining the main army at Domoku. A panic prevails at Arta in consequence of the Greek defeat. St. Petersburg, May 18. The Russian Black Sea squadron has suddenly left Sebastapol. The destination is unknown. London, May 18. The Berlin correspondent of the Daily News wires that reports are current of a plot against the wife of the King of Greece.
