A Light Line Railway.
FROM GISBORNE TO ROTORUA. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Gisborne, This day. The Chamber of Commerce and the Cook County Council have warmly taken up the- matter of the proposed light line railway from this district to Rotorua. Resolutions have been passed urging on the Government the necessity for giving eftecfc to the scheme outlined by the Hon -J. Carroll in a memorandum to the Premier. A public meeting will be called at which a railway league will be formed, thoroughly representative of all classes of the community on a strictly nonpolitical basis.
