Ebor is credited with being the best two miler over a country in England. \V. Holmes will ride Multiform in the Stakes. Derrett will probably pilot The Shrew in the Cup. Bloodshot, carrying lOst 41b. ran fourth in the Electric Stakes at Caul tie Id, won by Aurnui Golden Fleece won a double at the Ballarat meeting. She was sold the same day for £'loo. "Spectator" in the Press picks The Brook to win the 11.8. Cup. Noperu lias purchased Rossall for .£l4O. He was originally sold out of a pound for £B. Nopera's name appears on the disqualification list. The 'chaser Fishmonger has been put Into work again. Cast-ashore, by Castor, won the Cup at the South Auckland meeting. The same hone won the Claudelands Hail.heap about an hour after. F. Kingan will ride Strathbraan in the Cup OM Wednesday. Blarney is the nominal favorite for the Cup, but I fancy he will be defeated. Malachite and Lance have been shipped to England Irotn Sydney.
