Wellington, This day
The New Zealand Polo Association has decided that the next New Zealand tournament will take place in Auckland on March Bth, and extended a cordial invitation to the Victorian team, and arranged matches including Victoria v. New Zealand. The Junior Cup rules have been altered to allow all, except teams that have already won a junior Haville Cup, to play for the Junior Cup. A committee was appointed to try and arrange cheaper transit by steamer and railways for ponies and groom. Umpires for coming . tournaments will for the future be appointed by the Association and not by competing clubs.
The question of measurement of ponies Avas held over. A motion to inflict a penalty for killing a ball behind their own goal line was lost.
'lt was resolved to discuss riding to meet the ball when in position of opposing player at the annual meeting, so that it may be clearly understood when this constitutes a foul.
