The entries for the amateur championship cycle events, six in number, from half to twenty-five miles, include •Johnston, Grove, F. C. Castle, Muir, Herbert, Lucy, Pollock, and Diedrich (Wellington) ; Sharland, -Jones, H. Thompson, Ritchie, and Cooper (Christchurch) : Leevin and Donn (Timaru) ; Reynolds and Dextar (Auckland) ; Mae Donald (Dunedin) ; •J. A. Thompson, Cox, Wall, and Allen (Wanganui); C'aughley, Eraser, and Peterson (Napier).

Most of them entered for every event. *

There are eleven handicap events as well.
