The Opawa Murder.
[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Chkistchurch, This Day. At the S.M. Court this morning John Parkes was charged with the murder of Michael Ryan at Opawa. The Magistrate said it had been decided to now charge accused with manslaughter. The evidence was practically the same as that adduced at the inquest. The accused was committed for trial.
