THE NATIVES BEAT A HASTY RETREAT. {Per Press Association.—L'ojoiriijltt.) London, Jan. 22. News has been received that the Niger punitive column reached Kabba, and reports that the whole rebel native force that was concentrated on ffia south bank of the river lied at the approach of the column. Jan. 28. News has been received that the Fulah natives are retreating on Bida, the capital of Nupe and tbo punitive expedition is following. The native flotilla at Egga has been burnt to prevent the Fulahs crossing northwards. The whole Nupe nation is rising against the Fulahs' yoke.
