Burned to Death.

A HORRIBLE CASE. [By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Auckland, This day. A Maori girl named Tirinai Tuihau, aged 17, was burned to death at Kawhia. A spark from a camp fire settled on the girl's clothes. On waking up and feeling the fire she started to run towards the sea. The light clothing \ she had on was all consumed. The unfortunate girl expired in great agony. In trying to get through a barbed wire fence she was badly mangled.
