Syhnky, Jan. 11. The National Shipwreck Society intend to present the captain of the Orient with a trophy, the chief mate with 20 guineas, the boatswain with a gold medal and a paid of glasses, and each member of the boat's crew with a silver medal and live pounds in recognition of the bravery shown in conveying provisions during a heavy gale to the brig Phillis. Cardinal Moran is willing to become a candidate for the Federal Convention if requested, lie sees nothing incompatible with his position in accepting a seat on the Convention. Adki.mdk, This day. M. Borchgrevinck has arrived with the object of enhstins; sympathy for his proposal to tit out an expedition to the Anctartic regions during the next year.
