It is considered probable that there will be much delay and a long debate in Congress over the question. The Jingoers are aroused, and suspect England has some ulterior design in limiting the operation of the Treaty to five years. Paius, Jan. 14. The newspapers express satisfaction at the Anglo-American Treaty. Beelix, Jan. 14. The Liberal and Clerical journals are favorable to the Treaty. Vienna, Jan. 14. The Austrian press are enthusiastic over the Treaty.
