Canterbury Wool Sales.

(By Telegraph.) (Per I'ress Association.) Christchuiiuh, This day. The second wool sale of the season took place to-day, when about 8700 bales were offered. There was a large attendance of Home and local buyers. The sale was much more dull than those of November and December, and prices were generally from |d to Ad lower, merinos suffering much. The general run of value for wool sold up to luncheon adjournment was G|d to 7id for half-bred and crossbred, and up to 8d for .superior. The bulk of good merinos sold at 6d to GAd, and superior lines brought Gfd and 7d. Long wool made up to Bd.
