An old man named John Lewis attempted suicide at the Clarendon Hotel on Saturday evening by taking a dose of ehlorodyne, which he drank with a glass of beer. He was removed to the police station whore an erne! ic proved succ-j: -'fill in removing the. poison. Lewis was brought before the Court this morning ami remanded till Wednesdn v.
