Melbourne, This day. The delegates of the Cricket Council have arrived.
Mr Bruce, in an interview, said that while thinking the team did wrong iu not coming back by November Both, he did not think any good could be done by stirring the matter up now. He did not believe the Cricket Council would live long at- present constituted.
Mr Evans, the Adelaide delegate, regarded the Council simply as a waste of money. During its existence it bad done nothing beyond draw the funds of the various associations. He had given notice of motion for Tuesday's meeting, i- That all future Australian Elevens be financed by the Council."
