[By Telegraph.] (Per Press Association.) Napier, This day. Mr S. Carnell was nominated today for the Napier scat. Auckland, Nov. 24. Mr Crowthor addressed the City electors to-night. He declared himself an Independent, and received a vote of thanks. Wellington, ThisJ^yp. The reason given by Mr Duncan for withdrawing from the contest for the city is that he has no wish to split the Liberal vote. Woodville, This day. Mr Jensen has retired from the contest of the Pahiatna seat. Blenheim, This day. Thomas Lindsay Buick and Charles Houghton Mills have been nominated for Wairau. Duxedin, Nov. 24. Messrs Alexander Campbell Begg, Alfred Henry Burton, and Frederick Manter Lester were to-day nominated for the City of Dunedin. The Hon. John M'Kenzie has been nominated for Waihemo, his nominators being three ladies born in tho district.
