Mr C. Hall at Makaretu.
A GREAT MEETING. [By Telegraph.] [Special to Standard.] Makaretu, This day. The largest meeting ever held at Makaretu assembled last night to hear Mr C. Hall, the Liberal candidate for Waipawa, expound his views. Mr Hall spoke for two hours, and during the whole time he was listened to with great attention. At the close of his speech a hearty vote of thanks and confidence was carried.
