Accommodation. —The Hoard is calling for tender* for the erection of an infant section capable of seating '2OO children. The plans include a picket fence to front the new hnildirtir. but instead of this he siiirtrested that the present iron fence be e\U !id. d. Tin- plans and specifications of the new building were in his charge, and intending tenderers could see them oil application to him. The stationery fees were >bt • and would he collected at • ;!••• . Miss Furniss was unable to resume duty oivinv to ill-health. Sttndr\ small repairs were executed in the schools. The committee decided to call Serjeant Mitchell's attention to the fact that children were detained from school without sufficient reason. The chairman was directed to arrange with the Hoard to have the picket fence mentioned in the plan of the new infant school altered to an iron fence for the entire sch >ol frontage. Accounts to the amount of ±*x Ms fid were passed for payment. The appointment of Messrs M'Qnillan and Tang as a visiting committee concluded the business.
