Fatal Accident.
[By Telegraph] llaweka, This day. During a stonn on Friday Jeremiah Tahene, working on the co-operative works at Eltham-Waitotara road, on the Patca river, was struck by a limb of a tree and scalped. His mates carried him 11 miles, but he died on the way. lie leaves a wife and four children. An inquest was held at Elthani, and a verdict of " accidental death" returned.
