THE BLASTING ACCIDENT.
Sye'NUY. Oct. 21. At the inquest on the fatal blasting accident at the North Sydney sewerage works a rather sad incident was related. The man O'Suliivan, who was put in charge, was working through to meet M'Namara, the deceased. As the men eatue nearer it was necessary to warn each other when a charge was about to be* fired. O'Sullivan forgot to give the signal. He remembered the oniis-ston after he had got some distance away, ami ran lack, but
