Ashbuhtox, This day. Ml- E. G. Wright lias consented to stand for Ash burton. The National Association has undertaken to run his election and relieve him from the mental and physical strain which in his weak state of health might prove detrimental. Mr Wright had received a requisition from 500 electors, but had to decline on a medical man's advice as his heart could not stand the excitement of a contest.
