The Bank of Van Dieman's Land has made a second call of £1 per share, payable on December Ist. Perth, This day. The Loan Bill has passed through Committee. In the Assembly the Federal Enabling Bill passed its second reading on the voices with much enthusiasm. It provides for the election of delegates by both Houses sitting as one body. The Loan Bill was also passed. Mr R. Hammersley, brother of Lady Forrest, was thrown from a buggy to-day and killed. Port Darwin, This day. The cutter yacht Lizzie arrived from New Guinea to-day. Her officers report that while the crew were ashore they were attached by Natives, who killed and ate three of them.
