Pollard's Opera Company.

This ever welcome combination will renew acquaintance with a local audience on Monday next. The initial attraction will be Planquette's masterpiece " Rip Van Winkle." Judging by the Auckland critics, we are promised something even better than the excellent performances for which this company is famed. For weeks past scenic artists, mechanists, property men, and wardrobe ladies have been busy preparing for this production, with the- result that when it was staged in Auckland on Saturday, September 19th the public at once acknowledged the fact, that it was the best all-round production of comic opera ever placed upon a New Zealand stage.
