THE MENZIES RAILWAY.
A PROTEST FROM LONDON. London, September 29, A meeting of Land, Mining, and Finance Companies delegates, who represented twenty five millions, protested against the Menzies railway in Western Australia starting at the Southern Cross instead of Coolgardie as the step was injurious to mining and indicated a disregard of the interests of capital.
