LONDON WOOL SALES.
BIDDING SPIRITED. THE ADELAIDE MARKET. London, Sept. 23. At the wool sales to-day bidding was spirited with good general competition, but prices are unchanged. Adelaide, This day. At the opening of the wool sales there was a large attendance and the bidding was brisk. Prices ruled id to fd lower than last year's opening rates. 11l addition to this the dry season has militated strongly against the condition of the clip, so that wool absolutely fell in value on the local market Id to §d per pound.
