Speaking at Breslaujthe Emperor urged the co-operation of the Powers to crash the rebellious spirit of the age. To this, it is stated, the Czar replied that he was prepared upon a work worthy of both Russia and
Germany. Another version says the Czar vaguely indicated the pacific intentions of Russia.
