GENERAL NEWS.
EUROPEAN AND FOREIGN. London, Sept. 12. A large crowd assembled on the occasion ol the departure of Stanbury for Australia, and hearty cheers were given. A boiler explosion destroyed a portion of a gunboat on the Nile at Kcyheh. The engines were ruined.
