A THEATRE SENSATION.

A NARROW ESCAPE. Perth, This day. A sensational incident occurred yesterday at the Esperance Theatre. A performer dropped a burning hoop and one of the attendants poured a tin of kerosene on the flames in mistake for water, and the fire leaped to the roof in an instant and burned fiercely. There was tremendous excitement among the audience, who made a rush for the doors. The proprietor, however, who acted with great coolness, succeeded in extinguishing the flames and restoring order.
