EUROPEAN AND FOREIGN. London, Sept. 11. The Trades Congress demands pensions for aged workers, amnesty for all political offenders, and the public control of Education. Ottawa, Sept. 11. Mr Laurier, Premier, has announced that he would next session introduce the Alien Labor Bill to retaliate upon the United States unless the hostility shown to Canadian workmen is withdrawn. Washington, Sept. 10. The Democratic Governor of Kansas has been elected by a majority of 60,000 votes. Gross corruption is alleged in connection with the election. St. Petekburgii Sept. 10. The Russian Government is negotiating for a revision of the Ottoman commercial treaties, and claims further concessions m respect to passage at the Dardanelles. Constantinople, Sept. 10. Under protest of removing dangerous strangers the wholesale deporting of Armenians has been resumed. SoV DAN, Sept. 11. It is reported that the Powers are considering the advisability of deposing the Sultan.
